Welcome to The Centre for Adoption Support and Education

Be a business supporter

‘Adopt’ us as your charity

As a small local charity, without huge budgets, we greatly benefit from any support we receive from local businesses. We would love you to consider supporting us through your business or workplace.

By ‘adopting’ CCS your business will help us raise vital funds towards our work, and build local awareness and support for the services we provide. This support makes a huge difference, allowing us to continue reaching and meeting the needs of vulnerable adopted children and families who need and greatly value our help.

A charity partnership with CCS has many benefits for your business too, and we will work with you to plan activities and support which meet your business needs and Corporate Social Responsibility objectives. The size of our charity means that each business supporter is hugely important to us which is why we will work hard to build a lasting and mutually-beneficial relationship with you.

For more information on the benefits of a charity partnership with CCS, and the different ways you can support, please see below or get in touch by contacting our fundraising team on 0117 935 0005 or by emailing fundraising@ccsadoption.org.

Benefits for your business

A charity partnership with CCS will help you to:

  • Inspire and engage your employees
  • Enhance your brand and public profile
  • Demonstrate that you are supporting your local community in Bristol and some of the country’s most vulnerable children
  • Meet your Corporate Social Responsibility objectives.

Ways to work with us

‘Adopt’ The Centre as your Charity of the Year

Does your company nominate a Charity of the Year? If so, we would love you to ‘adopt’ us. We will work with you to create an engagement plan for your business which reflects your business needs and offers plenty of opportunities for staff involvement.

Employee fundraising

If your company does not choose a charity to support each year, then why not arrange some staff fundraising? We can provide you with information and ideas on how to organise a fundraising event that your employees will be proud to take part in.

Sponsor a project or service

We offer a wide range of support groups and activities for adopted children and parents, all of which rely on voluntary donations. Your business can make a big difference by choosing to support one of these projects or areas of our work.

Payroll giving

If your company offers a Payroll Giving Scheme why not encourage your employees to support us? Payroll giving is one of the most tax efficient ways to support our work, and anyone can give providing their pay or pension is taxed through PAYE and their employer offers a Payroll Giving Scheme. Many businesses generously choose to match their employees’ donations – making their support go even further!

A gift of £5 through Payroll Giving will cost a basic tax rate payer £4.

Nominate us as a beneficiary for an event

You can also make a difference by choosing us to be a beneficiary of an industry conference, dinner or award ceremony. This is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to social responsibility and your local charity to your suppliers, customers and clients. And, for us, it is an opportunity to raise awareness of our work and our need for support.

Gifts in Kind

From giving us your time and professional expertise, donating furniture or IT equipment, to allowing us to use your meeting facilities, ‘in kind’ support has a huge impact on our work. If your business has any resources that you think we could benefit from we would love to hear from you, or if we feel you may be able to help in some way we may be in touch.
