Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium: England and Wales

Children in state-funded education who were adopted from care in England or Wales, or left care in England and Wales under a Special Guardianship Order or Child Arrangements order are entitled to a Pupil Premium grant.

This is a payment made to schools and Local Authorities to support children to reach their true potential.

This includes children in alternative provision (such as an independent school or educated at home) where the place or provision is funded by the Local Authority.

If your child has moved schools, you will be required to provide evidence again as information is not transferable from one school to another.

Pupil Premium: Scotland, N.Ireland and Inter-country Adoptions

The Pupil Premium does not apply to adopted children under Scottish or Northern Irish legislation and does not apply to inter-country adoptions.
