Welcome to The Centre for Adoption Support and Education

OUR TEAM

The Centre has 10 core staff members who are professionally qualified. They have specialist training in the activities they provide, and have considerable experience of working with adopted and looked after children and their families.

Depending on the activities you take part in, you will meet various members of staff at The Centre. Many of the staff have worked there for a long time and enjoy taking the time to get to know the children, young people and families well.

In addition to its core staff, The Centre engages more than 20 part-time, self-employed professional people who are involved in a wide variety of therapeutic, artistic, athletic and medical disciplines. They comprise a diverse group of talents, ethnic backgrounds, special interests and adoption/fostering experiences.

All staff members have enhanced DBS checks, as do those who help us in children’s activities.
